HIV counseling is an essential to the Philadelphia Center's Prevention Program

HIV Testing
We use the Orasure testing method, which does not require needles.  We provide free and anonymous HIV testing Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 5 pm in our office.  We also offer mobile testing throughout Northwest Louisiana.

Education
Education is one of the most important element in the Prevention Department. First, we target special high risk locations.  Then, using proven intervention, materials, and educators we engage individuals in their own neighborhoods on their terms.  Our extremely knowledgeable staff give free HIV presentations to schools, offices, churches, and community organizations.

Outreach
Outreach provides educational information and safer sex material to individuals in high-risk areas. Our Outreach Educators go into state identified areas to reach individuals in their own neighborhood.
